Noorjahan “Noory” Enayat has been in the financial services industry since 2008. She began her career as a paraplanner with Finigan Financial Services, LLC, and is now an Senior Wealth Advisor with XML Financial Group. Her focus is on financial planning and maintaining the client-advisor relationship and communication flow. She conducts research on investment products as part of the firm’s due diligence practice, helps to drive asset allocation strategies, and analyzes client portfolios.
Her Story
Women today want the independence and freedom that comes with financial security, as do I. My mother wanted the same for me in immigrating to the US so that I could have better opportunities for the future. I benefited from this experience and was given the tools to overcome adversity time and again through a strong and supportive community of people dedicated to helping each other. I hope to share my experience and hard-earned knowledge with other women to help them along their path to a financially secure future so that any woman can say and feel that she is truly independent. This is why I will always act as an advocate for my clients.
I’ve found that often my clients seek guidance and feedback on where they are, where they need to be, how to get there and a friendly hand to guide the way. I strive to help individuals undertaking a change or major life event—from navigating a career path to starting a family, funding a child’s college education, undergoing a divorce or providing care for elderly parents—by sharing my global perspective and laying out the choices in front of them so that each woman can feel confident in making an educated choice.
Our choices today, after all, can shape our future and it is important that we have the knowledge, tools and time to make educated choices. I dedicate my time—backed by a team of highly-educated, service-minded professionals—to help individuals, families, and entrepreneurs gain financial security and the independence that it affords by bringing my global perspective to the table with an empathetic ear and treating people with respect. It is my mission to take the worry out of planning, building, and managing wealth for my clients so that they can spend their time focusing on the things that they love and enjoy.
Education & Philanthropy
Noory earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from San Diego State University. She continued her studies in economics through the American Economic Association’s Summer Training Program at the University of California Santa Barbara, in 2008. She obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2018.
Noory is a volunteer and member of Northern Virginia Family Services and Afghan-American Women’s Association (A-AWA). She also consults with the DC chapter Local Leader Trainer and board member of Children’s International Summer Villages (CISV), a non-profit global organization dedicated to educating and inspiring for peace through building inter-cultural friendship, cooperation, and understanding.
